Tom Fojut, PE, PG, CHG, QSD
Principal Engineer

For more than 25 years, Mr. Fojut has provided technical direction and project management for cleanups of former manufacturing facilities, solid and hazardous waste facilities, and government-operated research laboratories. He provides regulatory and technical assistance to developers, attorneys, local redevelopment agencies and state and federal agencies for brownfield and Comprehensive Environmental Response, Compensation and Liability Act (CERCLA) projects. He focuses on designing and implementing remediation strategies, from site assessment through construction, at impaired properties planned for redevelopment and at CERCLA sites. Specifically, these strategies have incorporated soil and ground water remediation, soil vapor mitigation, and practices to protect storm water quality.

For many cleanups, Mr. Fojut's remediation design incorporates sustainable redevelopment practices, including minimizing waste and wastewater generation, protecting storm water quality and recycling remediated groundwater, storm water and wastewater for non-potable uses.
