Senior Project Engineer
Trish Eliasson is a chemical engineer with a Master of Science in Engineering Management and more than 15 years of applied experience. As a senior project engineer, she manages multi-million-dollar projects that involve designing and optimizing complex remediation systems. Techniques she has implemented include dual phase extraction, soil vapor extraction, sub-slab depressurization, groundwater extraction and treatment, and in situ chemical oxidation. Ms. Eliasson also manages vapor intrusion mitigation projects that involve modeling vapor transport in soil and vapor entry of volatile organic compounds into buildings located on contaminated sites, sub-slab vapor barrier design, and indoor sampling.
Ms. Eliasson is highly experienced in managing the regulatory compliance aspect of her projects, including leading negotiations with regulatory agencies and developing strategies for site closure. She also supports municipal and private-sector clients in litigating environmental liabilities
In her capacity as Weiss’s corporate quality management program manager, Ms. Eliasson oversees implementation of the company’s quality assurance and quality control requirements, which serve to ensure the preparation of technically defensible work products.
Recently Ms. Eliasson has been extending her technical skills to actively mentoring engineering students.
